Dr. Temitope Erinosho

Temitope Erinosho joined HPDP in 2010. Her research focuses on the prevention of obesity and cancer risk in underserved children and families through interventions that promote healthy eating and physical activity behaviors. Environmental assessments of nutrition and physical activity practices and policies, and children’s dietary and physical activity behaviors in child care settings are also important aspects of her work. Her current research includes, an assessment of the nutrition and physical activity environments of child care settings in Mississippi, and an evaluation of a life skills-based family intervention for preventing obesity in young children.

Dr. Erinosho holds a doctorate degree in nutrition from New York University.
