HPDP Research Fellows Mary Altpeter, PhD, Tiffany Shubert, PhD, MPT, and Ellen Schneider, MBA, have contributed to the recently published eBook, “Frontiers in Public Health – Public Health Education and Promotion.

The “Frontiers in Public Health” publication initiative, led by Dr. Matthew Lee Smith and Dr. Marcia G. Ory, aims to translate the latest thinking and experiences in the area of evidence-based adult health promotion into online and eBook forms.

The volume, comprised of about 25 commentaries and 35 full-length articles, was created in an effort to provide a resource that enhances practice, informs policy, and builds support and delivery systems for EBP.

Most of the articles focus on Chronic Disease Self-Management Education (CDSME) Programs and falls prevention programs, while others discuss alternative EBP and cross-cutting issues.
