Dr. Noel T. Brewer is Professor of Health Behavior at the Gillings School of Global Public Health at the University of North Carolina.  He studies health behaviors that prevent cancer.  Dr. Brewer’s current work focuses on increasing HPV vaccination, improving tobacco warnings, and encouraging appropriate use of medical screening tests.  He chairs the US National HPV Vaccination Roundtable and participates in several international collaborations related to vaccination research and practice.  Dr. Brewer co-edited the US FDA’s book, Communicating Risks and Benefits: An Evidence-Based User’s Guide.
