Description

Logo for the SNAP-Ed Toolkit (a bicycle with a basket of produce)The SNAP-Ed Toolkit  includes a searchable database and information on 136 evidence-based obesity prevention and policy, systems, and environmental change (PSE) interventions for use by SNAP-Ed implementers. Additionally, it includes an interactive version of the 51 evaluation indicators from the SNAP-Ed Evaluation Framework and associated content from its Interpretive Guide. These combined resources guide and support the implementation, evaluation, and reporting of evidence-based SNAP-Ed programs, which are designed to help families on a limited budget make healthy eating and physical activity choices. The SNAP-Ed Toolkit team works closely with USDA Food and Nutrition Service (FNS) staff and the SNAP-Ed Toolkit Working group to coordinate the review process for the inclusion of new interventions into the Toolkit as well as to maintain and further improve the Toolkit.
