Selection Criteria

HPDP’s Excellence in Action Program will have five categories of awards in the following areas:
This award category honors individuals who consistently demonstrate unwavering integrity and a steadfast commitment to upholding HPDP’s mission, values, and norms. It recognizes employees who serve as role models for ethical behavior, embodying the principles of honesty, transparency, collaboration, equity, and accountability in all aspects of their work.
This award celebrates individuals who embody the spirit of dedication, reliability, and service, and whose behind-the-scenes contributions are integral to HPDP’s success. Their quiet but invaluable efforts ensure that operations run smoothly, colleagues are supported, and goals are achieved, making them true unsung heroes.
This award category recognizes individuals who have demonstrated extraordinary dedication in supporting and uplifting their colleagues, teams, or the broader community. This award celebrates acts of kindness, compassion, and generosity that go above and beyond typical expectations to make a positive difference in the lives of others.
This award category honors individuals who consistently exhibit an outstanding attitude that uplifts and inspires those around them. It celebrates employees who go the extra mile with their positivity, enthusiasm, and dedication, making a significant impact on team morale, culture, and productivity.
This award category recognizes individuals who have demonstrated outstanding leadership skills by taking initiative, assuming responsibility, and making significant contributions to the success of a project or task. It celebrates employees who have shown exceptional leadership qualities, inspiring and guiding their peers to achieve excellence and overcome challenges.
The selection committee will carefully review all nominations to ensure that each nominee meets the eligibility criteria. Throughout the evaluation process, the committee will place particular emphasis on the quality and specificity of each nomination. Nominations that provide detailed examples and articulate the nominee’s contributions and achievements effectively will be given special consideration. To maintain fairness and equity in the process, nominations will be subject to a character limit (max 1000 characters including spaces).
