Eboneé Nicole Butler, PhD, MPH is a cancer epidemiologist who studies the underlying causes of prostate and breast cancers. In her role as director of the North Carolina-Louisiana Prostate Cancer Project she examines risk factors that may explain the differences observed in prostate cancer risk, severity and progression between Black and White men in the southern United States. In addition, Dr. Butler has a growing body of research that aims to explore disparities in incidence and mortality for breast and prostate cancers among people of African ancestry.
