Evaluation Support
The Center for Health Promotion and Disease Prevention’s Evaluation Core Unit provides evaluation expertise to Center research and training activities and to collaborations with external partners. Specifically, this Unit:
- Develops and tracks performance indicators related to Center goals and uses evaluation results to help the Center refine its research, communication/dissemination, and training activities;
- Works with national, state and local partners to design and evaluate interventions;
- Provides technical assistance on evaluation methods; conduct qualitative and quantitative analyses; and write evaluation reports;
- Promotes university resources and training to improve evaluation capacity for researchers and community partners.
