The Center for Health Promotion and Disease Prevention’s Evaluation Core Unit provides evaluation expertise to Center research and training activities and to collaborations with external partners. Specifically, this Unit:

  • Develops and tracks performance indicators related to Center goals and uses evaluation results to help the Center refine its research, communication/dissemination, and training activities;
  • Works with national, state and local partners to design and evaluate interventions;
  • Provides technical assistance on evaluation methods; conduct qualitative and quantitative analyses; and write evaluation reports;
  • Promotes university resources and training to improve evaluation capacity for researchers and community partners.
