A July 20 article in The New Yorker discussing obesity in America featured Eric Finkelstein’s 2008 book, The Fattening of America. The book examines how the decrease in cost of fattening foods relates to increased obesity rates since the 1980s.

Finkelstein is a Research Fellow at HPDP and co-investigator on the WAY to Health NC study.
